Even Haier front loader machines with smart drive are heavy. I miss the NZ toploaders which are light, reliable and easy to repair. Here our Samsung front loader failed permanently after 5 years. Front loaders have the advantage that they can go under benches. But they are inherently more complex and (it seems) need to be very heavy.

I managed to acquire the original sheet music of this song. It was written by Alfred Opler (music) and Johnny Mercer (lyrics.) It was originally a waltz and had a lovely verse. It was titled simply "Mardi Gras," and the first line went "Did we dance as we dreamed at the Mardi Gras." Most modern renditions reverse those words! Copyrighted in 1931 by Miller music Inc. We have a GWL15 that's 14 years old. The agitator got replaced after about 10 years after the lower fins broke off of the original, and I just replaced the drain pump. Now it works like new again.

The only real issue that will happen to all of them is that the fins on the bottom will snap off eventually but a agitator is only $90
